Along with individual and corporate memberships, the International Sybase User Group also offers memberships for academic institutions. These memberships consist of one Gold Membership plus a number of Basic Memberships as part of a package aimed at schools, colleges and universities using Sybase as part of their curriculum. The Gold membership is assigned to the teacher/professor, and the basic memberships are allocated to the students.

There are two versions of the acadamic membership package available, one containing 25 basic memberships, the other with 50. Pricing is set at USD $195 and $295.

As with the Individual Memberships, Academic Memberships must be renewed annually. Academic Memberships can be requested online with the application process below. Once approved, an invoice will be generated and sent to the person requesting the membership. Payment will be due 30 days from that time.
