Joe Woodhouse is the Principal of Prima Donna Consulting. He has worked with Sybase technology for fourteen years, and was with Sybase Australia for eight. He is active in the Sybase User Groups of Sydney and Adelaide, and has been organising the Sybase Melbourne User Group for several years. Mr. Woodhouse is especially keen to help other Sybase users in the region start their own local user groups.
Jeremy has been an active member of the Sybase community for 10 years. Jeremy started working for a software house half-owned by Sybase and has since worked as a DBA at a number of worlds largest financial organisations, including Rabobank, Citigroup, Goldman Sachs where he has both broadened his experience of Sybase products and helped develop and improve their use within each organisation.
Cindy Bean is the Manager of Pre-Sales Support for the Surveillance and DBControl products at Bradmark Technologies. She has been working with Sybase products for over 15 years as a DBA, consultant, and product manager. Ms. Bean previously served on the ISUG Board of Directors in many roles, most recently as Vice President of Membership. Prior to that, she served as Conference Director, President, Past President, Vice President of Events and Media, and North American Regional User Group Director, a role she is now reprising. She is currently the Secretary of the Sybase Users' Group of Texas, where she also served as President and Vice President. Ms. Bean has been an ISUG member since 1995.
Jean-Pierre Dareys is a versatile IT professional with experience in the installation and maintenance of computer equipment, programming and managing client resources. His experience includes database design and administration, consulting, training, technical support, pre-post sales of products and services, lecturing at international conferences, and participating in the creation and maintenance of global heterogeneous, distributed and replicated systems.
Mr. Dareys has worked with Sybase technologies for more than twenty years, including a decade as a Sybase, Inc. employee in New York City, and has extensive experience with products including Sybase ASE, Replication Server, Open Switch and Sybase IQ. He has worked in all types of industries, such as consulting, VARs, retail, financial, media and communications, showcasing the multiple facets of his profile and roles, including taking the lead in small life cycle development projects.
Sheri Page is the owner of Acumen Industries, LLC, a Maryland-based independent consulting firm servicing the DC area. She has experience in multiple industries, including banking & finance, marketing, government, manufacturing, pharmaceutical and education. Ms. Page has worked with Sybase dataservers since 1994, and more recently with Replication Server and Sybase IQ.
Marcelle von Wendland has been responsible for the development and marketing of solutions based on Sybase products including PowerBuilder and Sybase database products since the early 1990's. As Director in charge of product management at Bancstreet, she has both a hands on technical and marketing background. Ms. von Wendland also has extensive experience as an executive commitee member and deputy chairwoman of the RISK professional interest forum at the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI) (
