The user group is active, vocal, and dynamic; members do not serve as a mouthpiece for Sybase, but work cooperatively with the company to comment, suggest, and assist in expanding Sybase's outstanding product line.

Being an international organisation, ISUG recognises that its members are diverse and have differing needs. Our Individual Memberships are split into two benefit packages: Basic and Gold.

• Basic: This benefits package gets you full access to the ISUG private members' website which houses all of our premium content, networking opportunities, forums/mailing lists, special interest communities and the ISUG enhancements process.
• Gold: Members with this package have access to all of the above as well as a subscription to the ISUG Technical Journal and free versions of many Sybase and iAnywhere products such as PowerBuilder, Adaptive Server Enterprise, SQL Anywhere and Sybase IQ, worth over (US) $7000! Free software? Really?

You bet! Sybase recognises that its users often need to get their hands on the latest versions of softweare, often long before their companies are ready to upgrade. Therefore many of the Sybase products are available through ISUG at no charge. Now, don't misunderstand; these are not meant to replace the licensed software that you currently use. Instead they enable you to either have your own personal-use copy at home, or to get a new version with which to prototype a new application and wow your bosses with the latest product features and functionality!

How do I sign up?

You can join ISUG here and immediately get your website password to allow you to start exploring all that ISUG has to offer. If you purchase the Gold package then you will be able to immediately read all the issues of the ISUG Technical Journal available online. Make sure you give us your correct mailing address so you'll be sure to receive a printed copy of future issues in the mail!.
