Frequently ISUG is asked to provide invoices so that a member can submit back to their company for payment. This page explains what ISUG does and does not provide, and the options available to members and businesses.
Please remember that these processes are in place to maintain ISUG's low membership dues!
Invoices
Invoices are not available for Individual memberships. Individual memberships are for individuals. Businesses who require invoices should consider purchasing a Corporate Membership instead of individual memberships for their employees.
This is not to say that businesses can not purchase individual memberships, just that ISUG will not provide an Invoice for one. ISUG will provide an invoice for a Corporate Membership.
Receipts
Individual members who pay by credit card can pull up a printable receipt from their profile page on My.ISUG.com. This receipt should be sufficient for reimbursement and tax purposes. You can access these receipts by logging in and clicking on 'My Profile' followed by the 'My Transactions' link on the profile page.
All membership transactions should be viewable on this page, but there is a caveat when you view the actual transaction: if you paid by credit card all of the necessary information is there; however, if you paid by any other method, the payee information is not available as it is not stored in the database for manual transactions.
If you are part of a Corporate Membership, there will be no receipt available to you, but your organization will have received an invoice prior to payment, so a receipt is not necessary. If you paid by PayPal then a PayPal invoice was sent to you requesting payment, so a receipt is not necessary in this case either.
