The Baltimore/Washington Sybase User Group is a community of Sybase professionals based in and around the D.C. Metro area. The group provides networking and educational opportunities to its members through quarterly meetings. The group is run by a Steering Committee with support from both ISUG and Sybase.

We offer two levels of membership:

• Basic Membership – Basic members are welcome to attend all of our user group meetings free of charge. In addition, we hold full day training events periodically to which our basic members are welcome to attend. Basic members also receive a similar level of membership in ISUG North America. Basic membership is $20. (Select)
• Gold Membership – As with our Basic Members, our Gold Members can attend our meetings at no cost, and receive discounted entry to our full day training events. They also receive an ISUG Membership with Gold Benefits which includes a subscription to the ISUG Technical Journal and access to over $7000 worth of free software from Sybase! Gold membership is $95. (Select)

You also have the option of becoming an Associate of the BWSUG. Associates receive notification of upcoming meetings and are welcome to attend at a small cost which may vary from time to time. Associates who wish to come to our training events must become a full member first. Associates can also participate in the ISUG North America online community, such as the various SIGs that ISUG hosts. Becoming an Associate is free. (Select)

Companies are also encouraged to join our group. Corporate memberships can be purchased directly through ISUG here. We do this to leverage the invoicing process that ISUG has for companies which allows us to keep our overhead to a minimum. Upon completing the process, company employees will automatically become a part of the BWSUG.

If you work for the government you can still join as a member. If your agency reimburses you for your dues, the receipt you'll receive from our system states "International Sybase User Group Membership/Subscription Receipt" and so will qualify for reimbursement.
