The Utah Sybase User Group is a community of Sybase professionals based in Utah, primarily around the Salt Lake City area and surrounds. We are a new group formed around the time of ISUG's visit to Salt Lake City with the ISUG PowerBuilder 11 tour. We're not just focused on PowerBuilder though! The group is run by a Steering Committee with support from both ISUG and Sybase.

We offer three levels of membership:

• Basic Membership – Basic members are welcome to attend all of our user group meetings free of charge. In addition, we hold full day training events periodically to which our basic members are welcome to attend. Basic members also receive a similar level of membership in ISUG North America, which allows them to participate in the ISUG enhancements process and gain access to the ISUG archives, which include replays of various online presentations on demand. • Gold Membership – As with our Basic Members, our Gold Members can attend our meetings at no cost, and receive discounted entry to our full day training events. They also receive an ISUG Gold Membership which includes a subscription to the ISUG Technical Journal and access to over $7000 worth of free software from Sybase! Gold membership is $99. (Select)
• Green Membership – Green members receive all the same benefits as Gold members, except that the subscription to the ISUG Journal is only for the online edition. Plus, any software not accessible by download is unavailable to Green members. Green membership is $89. (Select)

You also have the option of becoming an Associate of the UTSUG. Associates receive notification of upcoming meetings and are welcome to attend at a small cost which may vary from time to time. Associates who wish to come to our training events must become a full member first. Associates can also participate in the ISUG North America online community, such as the various SIGs that ISUG hosts. Becoming an Associate is free. (Select)

Companies are also encouraged to join our group. Corporate memberships can be purchased directly through ISUG here. We do this to leverage the invoicing process that ISUG has for companies which allows us to keep our overhead to a minimum. Upon completing the process, company employees will automatically become a part of the UTSUG.
